Day 2 of harvest was B-E-A-U-TIFUL! The sun was high, the sky was blue, and there was a warm wind. Perfect conditions for combining. I was busy with the kids today, and had my farmer husband take some of the photos for me today. We also had the last of our cows due to fall calve have her calf today; a nice red baldy bull! Tonight the kids and I capped off our evening with fireworks at our neighbour’s campground. Shortly after the fireworks were finished, the rain started. We shall see what kind of day we have tomorrow…stay tuned!
